• NAME OF THE POST : BOTANIST
• SERVICE/ CADRE : WBGS
• DEPARTMENT : FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRIES & HORTICULTURE, GOVT OF WB
• DIRECTORATE : DIRECTORATE OF CINCHONA & OTHER MEDICINAL PLANTS
• PAY : Rs. 9,000 - 40,500 (P.B. 4) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4,700/- and other allowances
• VACANCIES : 2 (TWO)
• RESERVATION : 1 each reserved for OBC-B (Non Creamy Layer) and S.C
• QUALIFICATIONS Essential : (a) Master’s Degree in Botany or Agriculture from a recognized University/ Institute   (b) 1(one) year’s Research Experience in Genetic and Breeding Physiology/ Pharmacognosy, preferably relating to Medicinal & Aromatic Plants
• AGE : Not more than 36 years on 01.01.2019, but may be relaxed for otherwise wellqualified and experienced candidates in the manner indicated later in this advertisement

BOTANIST Recruitment Fee :

Rs. 160/- (Rupees one hundred sixty) only. 

• For online payment through debit/credit cards : Convenience fee @ 1% of the examination fee subject to a minimum of Rs. 5/- (Rupees Five) only plus 18% G.S.T. on such convenience fee.
• For online payment using net banking facility : Convenience fee of Rs. 5/- (Rupees Five) only plus 18% G.S.T. on such convenience fee.
• For offline payment through Bank Counter : Service Charge of Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty) only.
